LCS lights up scoreboard in victory

It was a scoring frenzy Friday night for Lafayette Christian in a 78-6 victory over Peoples Baptist.

The Cougars scored early and often in a one-sided, dominant victory.

Andrew Hough threw a 40-yard touchdown pass to Alex Tusing on the first play from scrimmage, and after a forced fumble by the Cougars Hough hit Braden Firth for a 15-yard touchdown pass That made it 14-0 very quickly.

Ephraim Snyder scored the next two touchdowns on a 30-yard and 6-yard runs to make it 30-6 Cougars after the first quarter

LCS added another 30 points in the second quarter to make the score 60-6.

Hough hit Tusing for a 15 yard touchdown that made it 36-6 Cougars. Chaz Clark then scored on a 3-yard touchdown and Hough connected with Tusing from 30 yards out to make it 52-6. The final score of the half was on a 30-yard run by Hough.

In the second half, Clark scored on a 48-yard touchdown, Snyder scored from 30 yards out and Hough had a 2-yard touchdown run.
