The LaGrange Piano Homeschool Drama Club will perform the classic story “Peter Pan” on Nov. 12 at 6:30 p.m. and Nov. 13 at 2 p.m. at Franklin Road Baptist Church in LaGrange.
Based on the play by J. M. Barrie, the story follows the three Darling children–Wendy, John, and Michael as they follow a mysterious boy named Peter Pan off to the magical land of Neverland.
They join the Lost Boys, face off with the nefarious Captain Hook and his band of pirates, and come to terms with what it means to grow up.
The cast is comprised of 31 homeschoolers from LaGrange, West Point, and Roanoke, ages 6-17.
The show is directed by Noelle Reed, and the teens in the cast help with costumes, sound design, set design, assistant directing, and stage managing. Tickets are $5/person and available at lagrangepiano. com.
