Mrs. Ruedean Almond passed away Tuesday.
She was born in LaGrange, Georgia on July 27, 1937, to the late Luther Hardy and Carrie Philpot Ware. She gave her life to Christ at an early age at Mt. Zion Baptist Church, and attended public school in Heard County.
Survivors include two sons: Eddie Almond of Franklin, Georgia, and Willie (Sarah) Almond, Jr. of Franklin, Georgia; six daughters: Maxine (Carter) Holland of Conyers, Georiga; Elaine (Deronich ) Godfrey of LaGrange, Georgia; Amy (Michael) Parker of Stockbridge, Georgia; Bethena Almond of Clarkston, Georgia; Debra (Rodney) Moss of Ellenwood, Georgia; Martha (Robert) Wiggins of Fayetteville, Georgia; eight grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother, Charlie Leonard Reid, Franklin, Georgia; two sisters-in-law: Betty Jones of Dayton, Ohio and Willie Bell Cotton of LaGrange, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
The service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at New Hope Baptist Church Cemetery.
The excellent care of Mrs. Almond is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
