The last few days before Christmas are typically busy.
There are presents to wrap, meals to prepare and cleaning to do to prepare for the arrival of friends and family for the holiday. For some, there’s packing to do, as they prepare to hit the road or jump in an airplane to go see relatives who live states away.
It’s easy to get so lost in all the planning, packing and wrapping that the actual holiday can sneak up on us, and as we all know, it’s over quickly, regardless how much anticipation there is.
During this holiday season, we encourage you to put the phones down. Turn off the TV. Finish up the packing and planning — even if there’s something not done — and enjoy some real time with family.
The truth is that we all only get so many Christmases’ and our lives change so much in the course of 365 days.
There might not be another holiday quite like this one, and chances are, there probably won’t be. Enjoy it.
