Thomas Lee Pike, 81, of LaGrange, Georgia, passed away Sunday, Jan. 9, 2022, at his home.

Mr. Pike was born July 3, 1940, in Mauk, Georgia, son of the late Herbert Lee Pike and Sara Ruth Hall Pike. 

He was employed with Troup County Correctional Institute as a work release supervisor.  Mr. Pike was Baptist by choice and loved his kids and grandkids who were the “apple of his eye.”

He loved fishing, gardening, Nascar Racing, and Dale Earnhardt.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Dorothy Harrington, and two brothers, Frankie Pike and Calvin Pike.

Survivors include his wife, Billie Jean Pike; sons, Tim Pike (Nan), Keith Pike (Melody), and Scott Pike (Gena); grandchildren, Brittney Pike, Jared Pike, Brandon Pike (Amber), Ethan Pike, Ali Pike (Joseph), and Colby Pike (Keri); great-grandchildren, Bradley, Aiden, Liam, Gracyn, Preslee, Colton, Kinsleigh, Cooper, and Reese; sister, Maryellen Youngblood; niece, Tammy Ray (Roscoe); nephews, Calvin “Cal” Pike, Tom Harrington, and Kevin Pike; and several cousins.

The family will host a memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the American Cancer Society.
