1939 – 2022

Ms. Ola Mae Allen passed away Tuesday.

She was born in LaGrange, Georgia on April 1, 1939, to the late Curtis and Mattie Cameron Allen.  Early in life, she united with Smyrna Baptist Church, was educated in Troup County, before going on to earn her degree as a Master Cosmetologist from Brown Barber College.

Survivors include one sister, Betty (Walter) Russell; three brothers:  Emmett (Minnie) Allen, Charles (Etherine) Allen, and Jerome (Pamer) Allen; one aunt, Dora Cameron; all of LaGrange, Georgia; her beloved nieces, nephews including three generations; cousins, friends, and her Smyrna Church Family. The family will receive friends in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home on Tuesday from 5-7 p.m. The Celebration of Life Service will be Wednesday at 1 p.m. at Southview Cemetery and will Live Streamed via FaceBook:  www.facebook.com/LakesDunsonRobertson. The excellent care of Ms. Allen is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
