1964 – 2022

Mr. Robert Moses Heard, Jr., 57, of Pine Mountain, passed away on Jan. 26, 2022.

Mr. Heard was born on May 26, 1964, in LaGrange to the late Robert Moses Heard, Sr. and Betty Daniel Heard-Bible. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by an infant sister, Deborah Heard.

Mr. Heard proudly served his country in the United States Marine Corps and was currently working at East Alabama Medical Center as a CT Technician. He was loved by his family and friends and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include his wife, Marjorie Garner Heard; children, Nicole Heard Robinson (Michael), Thomas Trotter and Katherine Trotter; siblings, John R. Heard, Sondra Thompson (Richard) and Tondra Huddleston (Stanley); grandchildren, Everleigh Robinson and Sterling Robinson; sister-in-law, Cindy Little (Joe); numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and many friends.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, Jan. 30, 2022 at 2 p.m. at the Oak Grove Congregational Christian Church, 1264 Oak Grove Raod, Pine Mountain Road, 31822 with the Rev. Mabry Collins officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday beginning at 1 p.m. until service hour. Interment will follow at the Garner Family Cemetery.
