LaGrange High School Boys Soccer Team Extends Win Streak To Four

The LaGrange boys soccer team dominated Carver 10-0 to get its first region win of the season on Wednesday. The Granger mercy ruled Carver after only 40 minutes were played.

Jan Alvarado was the star of the show as he scored a hattrick and provided an assist. Tripp Hollstrom and Jordan Bryant scored two goals, and Davis Knight and Cade Hollstrom added a goal apiece.

Tripp and Cade Hollstrom led the offense with two assists each. Outland, Noah Whipple, and William Pitts all flashed their creativity as they notched an assist each.

The Grangers are now 4-1-1 and rank No. 4 in the state in 4A. They are coming off an undefeated appearance in the Rick Grammer Invitational at Vestavia Hills High School in Alabama where they upset No. 8 ranked team in 7A Bob Jones High School 2-1. The Grangers also pulled off an upset over the no. 1 team in 4A in Georgia and the defending state champions Southeast Whitfield 3-1. The Grangers season is off to a promising start as they look to establish themselves as a powerhouse in 4A soccer.
