1943 – 2022

Mr. Robert Lee Alford passed away Tuesday.

He was born April 15, 1943 in Chambers County, Alabama to the late Frank Alford and Willie Clyde Taylor Alford.

He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church in Lanett, Alabama.

Mr. Alford retired from West Point Foundry in West Point, Georgia after forty-three years of service as a machinist.

Survivors include a sister, Ms. Teresa Holley, of Louisville, Kentucky; step-son, Mr. Anthony Wayne Alford of Troy, Alabama; grandson, Mr. Roderick A. Alford, Jr.; two nieces; two nephews, and a host of loving and devoted

cousins, family and friends.

The Service will be Monday at 1:00 PM at Zion Hill Baptist Church, Troup.

The excellent care of Mr. Alford is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
