Mr. William Dereck Dedmon, 52, of Hoschton, Georgia, passed away Wednesday, March 9, 2022.

A Memorial Service will be held at Rosemont Baptist Church in LaGrange, Georgia, on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at 11 a.m.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, in the Chapel of Memorial Park South Funeral Home.  Deacon Paul Krarup will officiate.  The family will receive friends 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at Memorial Park South Funeral Home.

Dereck was born on Jan. 26, 1970, to William Nolan Dedmon and Patricia Page Smith in Leavenworth, Kansas. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Ann Pacquiao  and their fur-babies Butters, Roscoe and Maya (Toffee and Rudy have passed over the Rainbow Bridge and will greet Dereck). He is also survived by his parents, his daughter, Karissa Emiko Dedmon from Torrance, California, his sisters, Christy Lusicic (John) and nephew Giovanni, Julie Baier (Matt) nieces Madelyn and Hailey, his stepsister, Stephanie Gaddy, nephew Trevor and niece Trinity, and his step-sister, Jessica Smith.  Dereck is predeceased by his favorite and only brother, Trent Dedmon.

He proudly served in the United States Navy on the USS Missouri and continued to serve his country working for the Veterans Administration as an IT Analyst. Dereck not only loved his job but he loved working for this organization as he knew that his work had an immediate impact for the medical services that are provided to our beloved nation’s veterans.  His other passion includes doggie rescue, history, architecture, and fast moving cars.
