1960 – 2022

Mr. Freddie Albert Delaney passed away Friday.

He  was born June 10, 1960, in Lagrange, Georgia to the late, J.D and Mary Lena Delaney.

He united with Rocky Mount Baptist Church , was educated in Troup County, and employed by LaGrange Grocery Company for 30 years.

Survivors include his wife, Helen Delaney; four sons:  Derek Rivers, Antonio Harris, Albert Delaney, and Antonio Brown; two daughters:  Kenyatti Brown and Formicida Rosser; three step-daughters:  Maressa Wheeler, Jasmine Wheeler, and Alexis Moon; 22 grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and one grandchild on the way; five sisters:  Minnie Thurman, Flossie Cato, Martha Sue (Charles) Tucker, Jessie (Charlie) Dixon, and Ann (Walter) Ransom; two brothers:  Jesse (Martha) Delaney and Dan (Jennifer) Delaney, all of LaGrange, Georgia; two sisters-in-law:  Laura Jean Parkmond Delaney and Emma Mae Delaney; a special aunt, Mrs. Clara O’Neal of Buffalo, New York; and an array of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

The Service will  be Saturday at 3 p.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
