Mrs. Shirley Jean Jackson passed away Monday. She was born Dec. 11, 1957, to Doris Davidson and the late Grover Askew in LaGrange, Georgia.

“Teddy” as she was affectionately known, was a 1975 graduate of LaGrange High School, was a member of  Eastside Baptist Church, and was previously employed by Dunson Mill and Tillie’s.

Survivors include her son, Tovar (Pamela) Davidson; daughter, Brincess (Earlie) Gates; three grandchildren; sisters:  Barbara (Steve) Gates, Trina Davison, Betty (Clay) Gates, Pamela (Arthur) Hart; brothers:  Jimmy Davidson, Gregory (Barbara) Civers, Charlie Davidson, Dexter Askew; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 3 p.m. at Heavenly Heights Ministry.

The excellent care of Mrs. Jackson is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
