Mr. Vaden Stanley Horne, of LaGrange, passed away on May 12, 2022.  Mr. Horne was born in LaGrange on December 25, 1950 to the late Jeff Horne and Annie M. Horne.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Horne is preceded in death by his wife, Amy Hervey Horne and his brother, Watson Horne.

Mr. Horne proudly served our country with honor in the United States Army.  Following his years in the service, Mr. Horne returned to LaGrange and served his community as Barber.  He was a very dedicated member of the Grace Covenant Worship Center in Hogansville.

Survivors include his, children, Jeff Horne, Jennifer Johnson (Tony), Jordon Horne, and Jackie Farrar (Steven); his sister, Mable Short; his grandchildren, Logan Newsome, Summer Horne, Kyren Johnson, Gore Johnson, and Tydus Farrar; canine companion, Sadie; extended family and friends.  Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time.

The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m on Friday, May 13, 2022.  The Memorial Service will be held at Grace Covenant Worship Center, 1402 Bass Cross Road, Hogansville, Georgia on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, at 2:00 p.m.  Pastor Alex Montgomery will officiate the service.  Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand, 706-884-5626.
