Mrs. Lisa Denise Childs-Potts passed away Thursday.

She was born April 2, 1970, to Beverly Childs and the late, Leon Childs Sr.

She united with the Friendship Baptist Church in Standing Rock, Alabama.

Lisa graduated from Five Points High School, Class of 1989; and was employed by LaGrange Nursing and Rehab and Popular Creek as a CNA.

Survivors include her husband, Demetrius Potts; children:  Ivy Adair Childs, Danny Kavonne Childs, step-children:  Drelin Potts and Kumari Gholston; four grandchildren; her mother, Beverly Childs (Charlie Roberts); sister, Carolyn Childs; brother, Leon (Porsha) Childs; sister-in-law, Phyllis Hall; brothers-in-law, Derrick Heard and Cecil Gilbert; aunts:  Virginia Childs Fannin, Pricilla Childs, Hattie Ruth Childs, Ann Childs, Cassie Ross, Gladys Tigner; uncles:  Ernest Dukes, Rev. Ruben Simpson, and Roy Ross; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Service will be Monday at 2 p.m. EST at Friendship Baptist Church, Bacon Level.

The excellent care of Mrs. Potts is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
