Mrs. Ethel Mae Stargill passed away Friday.
She was born May 7, 1942, to the late Reverend Marshell Stenson and Mrs. Everall Matilda Brown Stenson in LaGrange, Georgia.
She united with Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church, and upon graduating High School in Troup County; obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Certificate and Certificate in Cosmetology.
Survivors include her children: Betty Bell, Sammie Lee (Joyce) Stargill, Jr., Dr. Ethel (Willie) Edwards, Debbie (Stanley) Peterson, Tony (Tammy) Stargill, Johnnie Stargill, Marlon (Kathryn) Stargill, Cynthia (Lawrence) Lauderdale, Cleaven (Brook) Stargill, Matthew Stargill; grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren; siblings: the Rev. Howard (Racine) Stenson, Matilda (John) Rouse, Dorthy (Walter) Stephens and an array of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
The Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church and will be LIVE STREAMED via Facebook @Lakes-Dunson-Robertson. The excellent care of Mrs. Stargill is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
