Gloria White Livingston, 76, loving wife, mother and devoted grandmother, passed away on May 26, 2022 at West Georgia Hospice in LaGrange after battling cancer.

Gloria is survived by her husband of 57 years, Kenneth Robert Livingston of Pine Mountain; her son Jeff Livingston of San Mateo California; her daughter Karyn Livingston Hunnicutt and husband, Bill; five grandchildren, Will Hunnicutt, Harrison Hunnicutt, Davis Hunnicutt of LaGrange, Laura Beth Livingston and Henry Livingston of San Mateo, California; her sister Barbara Ellis and husband Dale Ellis of Waverly Hall, Georgia. Gloria taught school in Columbus for 31 years.

She was a member of Delta Kappa Gamma Teacher Sorority where she served as President one year. After her retirement, she spent her time helping raise her grandchildren. As they grew up, she was blessed to be able to go on several mission trips to Guatemala, Dominican Republic and twice to India to serve the Lord. She made sure her grandchildren knew she loved Jesus and was an integral part in their spiritual growth. She volunteered as a client advocate at the First Choice Pregnancy Center in LaGrange, Georgia. She was a proud patriot of her country and stood up to protect the Constitution. She proudly served with L1027, a Christian-based ministry in Pine Mountain, Georgia, that serves high-risk youth in the community. She loved her time spent in Bible study with her devoted sisters in Christ. She always had a servant’s heart for her family and then shared that heart with her community and friends. She knew she would be meeting her Lord and Savior one day and lived her life that way.

Graveside services will be held on Sunday, May 29, 2022, at Chipley Cemetery in Pine Mountain, Georgia, at 4 p.m. followed by a memorial service at Rosemont Baptist Church at 5 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the First Choice Women’s Center in LaGrange, Georgia, P.O. box 2201, LaGrange, Georgia, 30241.
