LPD seeks public’s help to find critically missing person

The LaGrange Police Department is asking the public to assist in locating a LaGrange woman who has been missing since late May.
According to the LPD, Michelle Dunlap Smith, 51, was last seen May 26, 2022, at approximately 11 p.m., walking away from WellStar West Georgia Medical Center. She was reported missing by her family the next day when they had not seen or heard from her after she left the hospital. She was last seen wearing a sky blue shirt, tie-die shorts and sky blue shoes.
Smith is a Black female who is 5’4” tall and weighs about 220 pounds.
