Mrs. Ruth Williams, of LaGrange, passed away on June 13, 2022.  She was born in LaGrange to the late Annie Lou Thompson Geiger.  In addition to her mother, Mrs. Williams is also preceded in death by her husband, William “Billy” E. Williams; her siblings, Louise Bohannon, Alfred Langford, and Virginia Roberts; her grandchild, Kaden Williams.  Mrs. Williams was a longtime faithful member of Rosemont Baptist Church. Mrs. Williams is survived by her children, Debbie Butler and Tim Williams (Elissa); her sister, Lovine Perdue; her sister-in-law, Susan Langford; her grandchildren, Ashley DeLong (Scott), Brittany Steele (Justin), Kyle Williams (Courtney), Kaylor Williams (Kelly), and Kenton Williams; her great-grandchildren, Cole DeLong, Caroline DeLong, Emmie Kate Steele, Addie Mae Williams, and Weston Williams.  Please keep the family in your thoughts and prayers as they make their way through this very challenging time.

The family will receive friends at Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter-Allen-Myhand on Wednesday, June 15, 2022, from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.  The graveside funeral service will be held at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange on Thursday, June 16, 2022, at 11 a.m..  Pastor Max McCord will officiate the service.
