Mrs. Evelyn Truitt Sherman passed away Sunday.

She was born June 14, 1926, to the late Harry and Emily Reid Truitt in Troup County, Georgia. Evelyn united with Threats Grove and was educated by the Troup County School System.

Survivors include her children:  Minnie (Roy) Harper, Wiergate, Texas; Jamie (Helen) Sherman, Atlanta, Georgia; Walter (Linda) Sherman, Powder Springs, Georgia; Shantris Sherman, LaGrange, Georgia; nine grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren; siblings:  Agnes Truitt; Emma Truitt, Laura Truitt White, Margaret Truitt (Marvin) Allen; Jafus Truitt, all of LaGrange, Georgia; sister-in-law, Mary Knight; brother-in-law, Frank Sherman; 10 nephews and five nieces.

The Service will be Saturday at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home. The excellent care of Mrs. Sherman is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
