Are you looking for something to do this weekend?
Who doesn’t love a good Farmers Market? Visit the Market on Main in downtown LaGrange on Saturday from 8 a.m. until 1 p.m. Vendors will have fruit, vegetables, handmade jewelry and baked sweets, art and much more for purchase.
Closer to Hogansville? The Hogansville Framers Market makes its return this Saturday. From 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Askew Park, vendors will have an assortment of produce, handmade crafts, baked goods and more. Future dates of the market will be on July 9 and July 25.
Love a good board game with friends and pizza? Join the LaGrange Board Game Society for an evening of fun playing a variety of games. The fun runs from 11 a.m. until 7 p.m. at YourPie.
Need a good laugh? Join comedians Robert G Lee and Clay Cox at Pure Life for a night of knee-slapping laughter. Lee is a comic known for his ability to ad-lib off the cuff with any type of crowd. Cox’s routine involves poking fun at himself and his “mistaken” ventures in life. Looking to make a difference and volunteer? Join the House of Heroes for Volunteer and HEROES Build Day. They will be building beds for children in the community who do not have beds of their own from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 50 Lukken Industrial Drive. Bring your church group, civic club, neighborhood or anyone who just wants to help. Families are more than welcome to serve together as well.
