Linda Cagle, (80) of Burlington passed away unexpectedly at Alamance Regional Medical Center on Tue. Aug. 16, 2022.

A native of Los Angeles, California, she was the daughter of William Preston and Helen Norene Curry Preston, both deceased.

She was an Office Administrator for many years. She was an avid older movies fan, loved to read, enjoyed flower gardening, and was known to have a green thumb. She enjoyed time with her family.

Linda was a faithful member of Integrity Church where she participated in the Children’s Ministry for many years, the weekend services, Bible Studies, and Women’s Prayer Group. She was awarded the “Hall of Faithfulness” at the church.

Survivors include a daughter, Vicki Bridges (Andrew) of Pine Mountain Valley, Georgia; son, Alan Cagle (Pamela) of Richmond Hill, Georgia; four grandchildren, Jessica (Cason) and their daughter, Tinley, Sean, Mason, and Steven; sister, Susan Pawlowski of Murrieta, California; and her adopted family, Bob and June Pennington, Loree Anne Pennington, Jeff and Lisa Pennington, Cheryl White, Michelle White, and six grandchildren, Davis, Heather, Caleb, Andrew, Julia Anne, and Ella. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Trimble and Wendy Proffer, a brother-in-law, Stephen Pawlowski and her best friend since childhood, Alberta Quaile.

A memorial service will be conducted at Integrity Church  Sat. Sept. 10, at 11 A.M.
