Melissa Neal, president, and CEO of Pay It Forward 2k15, a local non-profit organization, recently donated over seven pallets of hand sanitizer to the Troup County School System, according to a press release from TCSS.

The LaGrange native wanted to do something for the school district she attended. She grew up in District 2 and is a proud product of the Troup County School System.  Neal’s number one priority is to give back to the community and area she grew up in.

“Our non-profit serves as an intercessor in the community to receive the donations, and we want to give it back to the people who need it in the community we serve,” Neal said. “Atlanta is our home base. Our goal is to reach out and help as many areas as possible. We’ve donated all over Georgia and are always looking for ways to help communities. I have a huge place in my heart for kids and senior citizens.”

Neal reached out to a long-time friend, Dr. Jacqueline Jones, director of student services for the Troup County School System, to tell her about the donation of hand sanitizer from the Rockdale County Sheriff’s Department.

“I am grateful for the partnership and the donation of hand sanitizer from Melissa Neal and her non-profit organization. She is a huge asset to this community,” Jones said.

“I appreciate her thinking about TCSS students and staff. I look forward to more opportunities to work with her and to support Pay It Forward 2k15.”
