Mr. Robert Warner “Buck” Davis, Jr., (68), of LaGrange, passed away on Sept. 23, 2022.  

Buck was born on Oct. 14, 1953, in LaGrange to the late Robert Davis and Maxine Bass Davis.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Godfrey and a niece, Lisa Marie Powell.  

He was the Owner of Buck’s Trucking for many years, served as a Youth Minister for many years at local churches and retired as a Troup County Commissioner after serving for twenty years.  

Survivors include his wife of forty-five years, Deborah Abernathy Davis; children, Jeff Davis (Jennifer), Lindsey Fuller (Justen), Brittney Ford (Andy) and Wesley Davis (Carlie); sister, Jackie Williams (Joel); grandchildren, Korbin Harmon, Grayson Harmon, Hayden Harmon, Gage Davis, Blaize Davis, Malaighdyn Davis, Addi Phillips, Madison Fuller, Natalie Fuller, Aden Fuller, River Haize Ford, Finnley Ford and Cedar Ford; nieces, nephews and extended family.   Funeral services will be held on Mon. Sept.  26, 2022 at 2 P.M. at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand with Dr. Paul Baxter, Rev. Paul Blair and Rev. Jimmy McMilliam officiating.   Family will have a time of visitation on Sun. evening from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. at the funeral home.
