PHOTOS: Callaway takes on Shaw and Harris County as part of a doubleheader

The Callaway flag football traveled down to Harris County and took a couple of losses in a doubleheader versus Shaw and the home team.
The defense was on full display as the offense kept stalling. Maylashia Parham snatched an interception and returned it for a touchdown late in the Cavalier loss to Harris County in the opening game. Callaway lost 12-6 when their rally fell short.
It was the same story in the second game against Shaw. The Cavaliers were shutout as they lost 12-0, but once again the defense came to play.
Ava Shuford — last year’s team MVP — was everywhere on defense and pulled down multiple interceptions across the two games.
Callaway fell to 1-2 on the season. The Cavaliers will play at Callaway Stadium versus Troup and Hardaway on Nov. 1
