The LaGrange Academy boys cross country team got a taste of the big time over the weekend as they competed in the state meet in Macon. There is not a single A race, so the Warriors had to compete up a classification in AA.

The best finisher for the Warriors was Collier Baker — just an eighth grader — who finished 28th out of 93 runners. He will have plenty of time to improve on this finish as he progresses as a cross country runner.

The team as a whole finished in 13th place.
