Ms. Tanya R. Turner passed away Tuesday at WellStar WG Hospice.

She was born Nov. 28, 1958, to the union of Will Henry Turner and Fannie Ruth Turner. She was a native of Chicago, Illinois; but grew up in Alabama. 

She united with Mt Calvary Baptist Church at an early age.

Tanya obtained her Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate; and enjoyed taking care of people.

Survivors include two sons:  Ronald (Tasha) Turner and Will Turner; one daughter, Tanya Cassandra Turner; seven grandchildren:  four sisters, one brother, and a host of nieces and nephews along with many friends.

The Service will be Thurs. at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
