William Claude Whitlow, Jr., (87), of LaGrange, Georgia passed away suddenly after a brief illness on Sun. Nov. 6, 2022 at Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center.

Mr. Whitlow was born Nov. 27, 1934, in the Big Springs Community, Georgia, son of the late William Claude Whitlow, Sr. and Martha Murlin Russell Whitlow.

 He was a member of the Cattlemen’s Association and was most content being on his tractor. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Janelle Cooley Whitlow; and four sisters.

Survivors include his sons, William C. Whitlow III, DVM and his wife Laura Whitlow and John B. Whitlow, OD and his wife Donna Whitlow, OD; grandchildren, Will Whitlow, Jennifer Whitlow, John H. (Kayleigh) Whitlow, Chase Whitlow and Riley Whitlow; several other relatives and friends.

The Celebration of Life Service will be Sat. Nov. 12, 2022 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Striffler-Hamby Mortuary with Paul Blair officiating. 

The family will gather on Sat. at 10 A.M. prior to the service at the funeral home. 

Burial will follow in Meadoway Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Big Springs United Methodist Church or the charity of your choice in memory of William C. Whitlow, Jr.
