Lafayette Christian boys basketball dominates on the road

Lafayette Christian dominated Rock Springs 61-39 on Tuesday to keep its hot start to the season alive. 

Joshua Zapato carved up Rock Springs and scored a team high 20 points. He also had six rebounds, three steals and five assists to just one turnover.

Adam Saylor dominated in the post en route to 16 points in the game and chipped in eight rebounds, two blocks and three steals as well. Bruno Tellez had 13 points as this trio lifted the Cougars to a big road win. 

The Cougars led 11-5 after the first quarter, 26-17 at halftime before dominating the second half as the Cougars controlled the game from the opening whistle.

Lafayette Chrisitan moved to 2-0 to start the season. The Cougars travel to Springwood for their next game on Thursday.
