Jazmin Thornton drops 34 points, LaGrange Academy wins big over LCS

The LaGrange Academy girls basketball team took it to Lafayette Christian on Friday as the Warriors waltzed their way to a 66-19 win.
The game was over early as the Warriors bombarded the Cougars in the first quarter. It was the Jazmin Thornton show for the Warriors as she scored 17 of her game high 34 points in the first quarter.
Laura Knight had 12 points and Anna Beth Kinnersley had 10 to help supply some offense for the Warriors.
Cameroon Bridges carried the offense for the Cougars with 11 points. Isabell Matheny was second on the team in scoring with five points.
The Warriors start the season 3-0. LaGrange Academy will be back on the court on Tuesday against Harvester Christian.
Lafayette Christian is still searching for its first win of the season. The Cougars host Flint River on Thursday.
