Callaway boys tip off 2022-23 season with a road win

The Callaway boys basketball team tipped off its 2022-23 season with a 66-27 victory over Towers on Tuesday.
The Cavaliers dominated the opening quarter 20-7 and never looked back, outsourcing Towers over the final three quarters of the game as well.
The offense was spread around with Bryceton Sanders leading the team in scoring with 13 points. Exavious Reed was second on the team with 10 points and DeShun Coleman had nine to help chip in.
The Cavaliers got to deploy their entire bench as 12 different players got in on the scoring.
Callaway improved to 1-0 overall and 1-0 in region play on the season. The Cavaliers will open their home schedule on Friday when they take on region foe Redan.
