Putting up a fight.
The LaGrange girls basketball put up a fight in the first half before ultimately falling 56-31 to Harris County.
The first quarter was back-and-forth as the teams ended the opening eight minutes tied at 10. The Tigers got some separation in the second quarter, but the Grangers only trailed by eight points at the break.
It all came apart in the third quarter for the Grangers as they could only muster three points.
Peytwon Swint led the team with eight points, but exited the game in the second quarter with an injury and did not return to the game. The Grangers desperately missed her presence down the stretch. Brittney Heard and Corriah Williams chipped in with six points apiece.
The Grangers come down from the high of winning their first game of the season last time out.
LaGrange fell to 1-4 on the season. The Grangers will be back on their home court against Ola on Saturday.
