Mrs. Susan Rebecca Murphy Gaddis, age 62, of LaGrange, passed away on December 21, 2022. Mrs. Gaddis was born on April 1, 1960 in LaGrange to the late Lonnie Murphy and Clara Railey Murphy. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Sheila Keegan and a brother, Alton Murphy.

Survivors include her husband, George Edward Gaddis; sons, Randall Smith and Nicholas Smith; siblings, Richard “PeeWee” Murphy (Judy), Betty Murphy, Deborah Ann Brown (Roy Clayton), John Murphy (Donna); grandchildren, Aracely Smith, Kalab Ballard, DeWayne Smith, Rebecca Smith, Savannah Smith and Serenity Smith; nieces, nephews and extended family.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 30, 2022 at 1:00 pm at the Higgins Funeral Home at Hunter Allen Myhand Chapel. Interment to follow at Restlawn Memory Gardens. Family will receive friends on Friday, December 30, 2022 beginning at noon at the funeral home.
