The LaGrange Police Department is looking for a kidnapping suspect, who allegedly stole a vehicle and took an 8-month-old child.

The child and vehicle have been returned, according to a LPD press release. The LPD responded at 4:14 p.m. to 1468 Lafayette Parkway and made contact to the victim, who told police that Korin Cox had snatched her cellphone and damaged it by intentionally throwing it on the phone. She also said Cox snatched her 8-month-old child from her arms and stole her vehicle.

Warrants were issued for Cox for kidnapping, robbery by sudden snatching, theft (auto), and criminal damage second-degree.
