Mr. George S McCamey passed away Wednesday.

He was born Feb. 25, 1940, in LaGrange, Georgia to Jack and Addie McCamey.

He was educated in the Troup County School System, resided in Chicago for over forty years, and traveled with his Gospel Group, The Gloraires.

Survivors include his children:  Dorothy Jean McCamey, Atlanta, Georgia; Donna McCamey, Beverlyn McCamey, George McCamey, Jr., Keith McCamey, Demetri McCamey, all of Chicago, IL; Sherice McCamey, Des Moines, IA; Tara Burden, Keith Burden, Chicago, IL; Virmona McCamey, Des Moines, IA; twenty-seven grandchildren; twenty-five great grandchildren; god-daughter, Tammy Harris, Des Moines, IA; siblings:  sister, Josephine Sellers, brothers, Eugene (Letha) McCamey and Jimmy (Sharon) McCamey; uncle, J. C. Carter; and a host of  nieces, nephews, cousins, family, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
