Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

LaGrange stalled out in a 54-15 loss to Trinity Christian on Saturday.

The Grangers could not get much going on the road to the region leading Lions who remain a perfect 7-0 in region play.

The game was out of reach early with the Lions taking a 24-2 lead at the end of the first quarter. The Grangers could not mount a rally but were able to score eight points in the second quarter to show some signs of life on the offensive side of the floor.

Corruah Williams led the Granger offense with eight points including two made 3-pointers. Adrianna Kendricks scored three points while Brittney Heard and Kelis Atkinson each scored two points to round out the offense for LaGrange.

Lagrange fell to 5-13 overall and 2-6 in region play. The Grangers will be back in action on Tuesday when they host Trinity Christian for a rematch.
