Margaret Janelle Nixon, 73, of LaGrange, GA passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 24, 2023.

Janelle was born January 5, 1950 in LaGrange, GA to the late Willie Waters and Velma Waters.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Nixon and sister, Louise.

She is survived by her sons, Steven Nixon and Davy Nixon; grandchildren, Halana Nixon, Gabby Nixon, Isaac Nixon, Fenway Nixon and Ethan Nixon; and 3 great-granddaughters, Kenslei, Uriyah and Amoura.

A Graveside Funeral Service will be held 12:00 P.M Saturday, January 28, 2023 at Shadowlawn Cemetery in LaGrange, GA. The Gathering of Family and Friends will take place at 11:00 A.M. to 11:45 A.M. prior to the service on Saturday at Striffler-Hamby Mortuary.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her honor to the LaGrange Humane Society.
