One person was shot on Whitesville Road Saturday evening, according to LaGrange Police Department Sgt. Ley Wynne.
There was a heavy police presence in the area of the Neighborhood Grocery Store around 8:30 p.m. ET, though it was unclear exactly where the incident took place.
The suspect is a Black male, but any specific details about the suspect were unknown.
The victim, also a male, was taken to a hospital for treatment. It was unclear the severity of his injuries.
