LaGrange boys soccer came out on the wrong side of a seven goal thriller against St. Anne-Pacelli, falling 4-3 on a goal with just five seconds left on the clock.

It was a game full of momentum swings as both teams had moments where it looked like they were in control of the game.

It all started so well for the Grangers when Jordan Bryant scored the first goal of the game. Pecelli proceeded to score three goals in the span of three minutes to take a commanding lead.

The Grangers never wavered and pressed forward with Davis Knight scoring and Luke McSpadden playing provider. It did not take LaGrange long to grab the tying goal on a Cade Hollstrom goal, assisted by Knight.

It looked like from there the Grangers would get at least a draw, but it was not to be.

LaGrange fell to 1-4 on the season as they put themselves to the test against some of the best teams in the state. The Grangers will be back in action on Thursday away to undefeated (5-0) Bremen.
