Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

More than a week ago, a 15-year-old boy was killed in our community.

Quendarrious Woodyard was shot and killed near Hambersham Street, just off of Whitesville Road, on Saturday, Feb. 4. And at this moment, no one is behind bars for the murder. The LaGrange Police Department has said numerous times since the shooting that it was still working to identify the suspect or suspects that shot Woodyard, but the lack of information is hindering an investigation.

Someone out there knows something.  Someone knows who pulled the trigger and took this young life before he even had a chance to start living.

We encourage anyone with information to step up and provide it to law enforcement so that the person or persons who committed this terrible crime are caught.

We often write that if you see something, say something.

And that holds very true in this instance. A family is grieving an unthinkable loss. Regardless of what transpired, a 15-year-old lost his life. That should never happen.

If you have any information, call the LaGrange Police Department at (706)883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at (706)812-1000.
