LaGrange Toyota Invitational to return the first weekend in March

The LaGrange Toyota Invitational High School Baseball Tournament has been the most prestigious baseball tournament in the southeast for the past 25 years. The purpose of the LaGrange Toyota Invitational High School Baseball Tournament is to showcase the best baseball talent in the southeast. 

Over 30 of the boys who will be playing in the tournament have already committed to D1 Colleges. Several of these players are nationally ranked. There will be plenty of pro scouts in attendance looking for their next super star. Pool play will begin Thursday at 6 p.m. The teams playing include LaGrange High School, Lambert High School from Suwanee, Carrollton High School, Mill Creek High School from Atlanta,  St. John Country Day School from Orange Park, FL, Mosley High School Lynn from Haven, FL, Winter Park High School from Winter Park FL, and Olympia High School from Orlando FL. 

This tournament’s alumni that have made it to the major leagues include: Jeff Franceour, Buster Posey, Jason Heyward, Michael Taylor, Austin Riley, Colby Rasmus, Cory Rasmus, Steven Drew, Wade LeBlanc, Eric Hosmer, Walker Locket, Josh Rutledge, Zach Wheeler, and Ethan Martin.
