The LaGrange Police Department has provided an image of an individual believed to be responsible for the murder of Alan Dale Huguley, Jr.
The photo was originally provided and published among several other subjects wanted for questioning in the Jan. 28 murder. The name of the suspect is still unknown, but an LPD press release has identified him as a suspect in the murder.
LPD began investigating the incident just before midnight on Jan. 28. Officers initially responded to the Jameson Inn in LaGrange in reference to a person shot. Police arrived to find Huguley suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Huguley was transported to the WellStar West Georgia Medical Center where he died as a result of injuries sustained during the incident.
Police say evidence at the scene indicated that Huguley was shot by unknown suspects who fled the scene on foot after the attack.
As of the last report from LPD, the identities of the suspects remain unknown.
The suspects were described as two black males. The first was described as heavy-set wearing blue jeans, a black hoodie, and blue and white Air Jordan tennis shoes. The second suspect was thin and wore all black clothing with black and white tennis shoes.
Anyone with information as to the identity of the suspect provided is asked to call the LaGrange Police Department at (706) 883-2603 or Troup County Crime Stoppers at (706) 812-1000.
