Mr. Harold Ligon passed away Thursday.

He was born Jan. 11, 1936, to the late Otis and Emma Tommie Ligon in LaGrange, Troup County, Georgia.

“Hal” as he was known, retired from the City of LaGrange after twenty-six years of service.

 Survivors include four children:  Shirley Truitt, Darren Ligon, Marvin Cameron, all of LaGrange, Georgia; and Shakenna Jennings, Columbus, Georgia; eight grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; sisters:  Carrie Ruth Ligon and Christine Ligon Harris, both of LaGrange, Georgia; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

The Service will be Thursday at 1 P.M. at Threats Grove Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Mr. Harold Ligon is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
