The LaGrange Academy boys tennis team claimed back-to-back region titles by beating Mill Springs on Tuesday. It was a clinical display from the Warriors, who went a perfect 5-0 on the afternoon. 

Prem Kamat, Alex Jarvholm and Martin Zachry swept the singles — all winning 8-0 in dominant fashion. The boys duos of Kenny Horlander and Jake Ahn as well as Zach Tures and Grayson Blair all won by forfeit. 

The Warriors have put together a perfect region record in 2023. 

The girls team, which consists of just three players, lost to Mill Springs 1-4 on Tuesday. The Warriors were led by Sowon Kim, who gave the Warriors their lone victory for the girls on the afternoon, winning 8-1. Katherine Stogner lost 3-8 while Megan Lee lost a close match 8-6.  

LaGrange Academy will host the region tournament at McCluskey Tennis Center on April 11.
