Three life-flighted after vehicle fleeing deputies crashes at Hogansville intersection

Three people were lifelighted after a vehicle running from Coweta County sheriff’s deputies was involved in a two-vehicle collision Friday in Hogansville afternoon, according to Georgia State Patrol.
The fleeing vehicle, a Toyota Corolla, had exited Interstate 85 at a high rate of speed at the intersection of Georgia 54. The Corolla struck a GMC pickup truck at the intersection, according to the GSP preliminary report.
It is not immediately clear how many people were in each vehicle, or which vehicle the lifeflighted vehicles were from. It was also not clear why the vehicle was running from Coweta County deputies.
