The LaGrange girls soccer team is on to the round of 16 of the AAAA state playoffs with some individual accolades in tow. Four Grangers — Sam Cottle, Tatum Fritchley, Emma Maradik and Karley Perry — were named to the region 4-4A all-region team.

Sam Cottle has delivered the goods up front and currently has 22 goals and five assists on the season. This was her second consecutive season being named to the All-Region team.

Fritchley, a senior, was one of the first names on the team sheet and was the captain in midfield. She has nine goals and five assists on the season and was also named to the all-region team a season ago.

Maradik is just a sophomore but already has two all-region team appearances. She has made 77 saves this season and been a stalwart at the back for the Grangers.

Perry, a sophomore, was one of the top players in region 4-4A this year and is only getting started. She currently has 23 goals and 11 assists and has also made the all-region team two consecutive years to start her high school career.

These four players will be back on the field on Wednesday as the Grangers take on Perry in the round of 16.
