Ms. Vernoica Yvette Lakes passed away.

She was born on June 5, 1971, at Warm Springs Hospital in Warm Springs, Georgia to the late Render Crowder Sr. and Mary Raglin Lakes.

She was a graduate of Greenville High School, Class of 1990. She continued her secondary education at Fort Valley State University.

She joined Arbor Chapel United Methodist Church at an early age, where she served as a member until her health declined.

Survivors include daughters:  Mercedes (Tyasia) Clark and Miata Farley; her siblings:  Patricia Ransom, Calvin Lakes, Jimmy (Connie) Howard, Brenda Moreland, Kenneth (Brenda) Lakes, Alexander (Vickie) Lakes, Bettye Hunt, Elaine (Sonny) Lyons, Dewey Crowder, Sherell Parks, Judy (Alvin) Johnson; her aunts:  Inez Gates, Mozell Lyons, Nettie Sullivan; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The Service will be Saturday at 1 P.M. at Springfield Baptist Church.

The excellent care of Ms. Lakes is being provided by Lakes-Dunson-Robertson Funeral Home.
