A real estate group out of St. Louis is planning a new logistic center off of SL White Blvd. in LaGrange.
The Troup Logistics Center is currently under construction on by Summit Real Estate Group in the Jim Hamilton Industrial Park off of Greenville Rd.
The speculative development is separate from the proposed LaGrange Logistics Center planned by Selig between Whitesville Rd. and Hamilton Rd.
The Troup Logistics Center will be a 191,000-square-foot industrial warehouse on a 21-acre site designed to accommodate manufacturing and distribution.
According to a press release from the developer, the building will feature an ESFR fire protection system, LED lighting, 32-foot clear heights, a 185-foot deep truck court, 30 dock-high doors and 33 trailer parking spaces.
Jim Hamilton Industrial Park provides the center easy access to I-85 which connects it to Hartsfield Jackson International Airport in under an hour and quick trips to KIA in West Point and nearby I-185 connects the center to Columbus.
The Troup Logistics Center is Summit’s first development in LaGrange. The group currently has five additional industrial developments throughout the southeast.
“We are thrilled to be developing Troup Logistics Center,” said Mark Billeaud, Founding Partner and Head of Investments for Summit Real Estate Group. “This project will supply LaGrange with much-needed industrial space to support existing and new industry growth.”
Like the Selig development with a similar name, both projects are speculative, meaning they are being built without tenants signed. More information on the Troup Logistics Center is available touplogisticscenter.com.
