Woman arrested after alleged road rage incident

A woman was arrested after allegedly firing a gun toward another vehicle during a road rage incident at the intersection of Springdale Drive and Broad Street.

Trekendra Williams, 23, was arrested and charged with one count of aggravated assault, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.

The victim told officers a red Nissan sedan began following him and continued to follow him to the intersection of Springdale Drive and Broad Street. The victim reported that while stopped at the red light a female exited the red Nissan sedan with a firearm and began questioning why he was driving the way he was. The victim then reported that the female pointed a pistol towards his vehicle and as he began to drive away from the intersection he heard one shot fired from the handgun. Officers were able to confirm that there was one shot fired that struck the victim’s vehicle.
