17-year-old shot, killed; 16-year-old charged with involuntary manslaughter

A 17-year-old was killed and a 16-year-old charged after a shooting at 900 Fourth Avenue on Saturday morning, according to a LaGrange Police Department press release.
The victim has been identified as 17-year-old Monatvious Gunn and the suspect is an unidentified 16-year-old who has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime.
Officers arrived at approximately 12:30 a.m. and located one victim with a gunshot wound to the chest. Gunn was transported to Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center where he was pronounced deceased shortly thereafter. Detectives were called to the scene and after further investigation, the 16 year old juvenile was later taken into custody.
