LPD: Man kills wife, then shoots himself in convenience store parking lot

The LaGrange Police Department is still investigating after an apparent murder/suicide took place at Jr Food Mart on Whitesville Road Monday night.
The victims have been identified as Leroy Jasmine and Serrita Jasmine, according to LPD. The Jasmines were married but had been separated for a period of time, according to the press release.
Leroy confronted Serrita in the parking lot and shot her before shooting himself, according to the release. Officers provided medical aid to both individuals at the scene. Emergency medical personnel determined the male to be deceased at the scene. The female was transported to WellStar Medical Center where she later died of her injuries.
